New York, NY, September 9, 2024 – NMS Capital (“NMS”) portfolio company Texas Pride Disposal Solutions (“Texas Pride”) announced today that it has made several key hires to the leadership team.
Texas Pride is announcing the addition of Ray Lewis as COO and Joe Scarano as CFO, along with several additional key hires.
Ray boasts 20+ years of leadership experience in the waste industry. Most recently he served as a regional VP for Win Waste, with prior experience at Republic Services. Mr. Lewis commented “This is an exciting time to be joining the Texas Pride team. I look forward to continuing to deliver reliable service to our customers as we expand our footprint.”
Joe brings with him more than 35 years of financial and operating leadership roles in environmental services and other related industries. Notably, Joe has prior experience as President and CFO at Roadsafe Traffic Systems and as CFO of WCA Waste where he spent 17 years. During his time at WCA, Joe closed and integrated over 60 acquisitions. Mr. Scarano commented “I am thrilled to be joining the Texas Pride team, I look forward to leveraging my background to grow and further professionalize the business.”
Joining Ray and Joe are Robert Bartee as VP of Safety, Mike Ropers as VP of Fleet, and Erin Rogers as VP of Sales. Most of this team, including CEO Chuck Casalinova and CDO Kevin Atkinson, has worked together before, as part of the team building a highly successful, super-regional business. Chuck Casalinova, CEO of Texas Pride, commented “I am excited to have this group here. The team has significant experience, having worked together for an extended period of time, and it is the right group to lead our efforts growing Texas Pride.”
