New York, NY, July 1, 2024 – NMS Capital (“NMS”), announced today a new executive partnership with Bob Elfanbaum to pursue platform investments in the IT services industry, with a focus on digital transformation and managed service providers (“MSPs”). Mr. Elfanbaum has joined NMS’ Operating Executive Council (“OEC”), which is comprised of experienced industry leaders and operating executives. NMS OEC members work alongside NMS and portfolio management, bringing deep industry knowledge, expertise, and relationships to its companies.
NMS has a successful track record of growing platforms in the IT Services arena historically, including ettain, a provider of talent and managed solutions to companies in the IT services and healthcare IT markets, and avaap, a provider of workday consulting, business intelligence and data & analytics solutions to both commercial and state and local government / educational institution clients. NMS’s partnership with Mr. Elfanbaum will build upon these experiences with an intentional focus on expanding into high growth and critical areas of the IT Services landscape, including digital transformation and IT managed services.
Mr. Elfanbaum is a highly accomplished IT services executive and former CPA with 40+ years of industry experience. Most recently Bob served as the CEO of Object Computing Inc. (OCI), a St. Louis-based consultancy focused on transforming companies into data-driven businesses. OCI specializes in software engineering, AI and other technologies to provide solutions to commercial, government and non-profit sectors. Prior to OCI, Bob was VP of Products for World Wide Technology (WWT), responsible for developing proprietary products. Prior to WWT, Bob co-founded and served as CEO/GM of Asynchrony, one of the leading agile development organizations in the US, from 1999 to 2018 (which was renamed WWT Application Services after being acquired by WWT in 2015). Bob also has experience as a CPA at PwC and was previously the CFO of a NASDAQ listed Company.
