Martin E. Chavez

Martin Chavez is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of NMS. Martin has more than 20 years of private equity, general management and investment banking experience and supervises all NMS investment activities. Prior to forming NMS in 2010, Martin was a Managing Director in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs and one of two senior members charged with investing in and leading the group of portfolio companies acquired by NMS from Goldman Sachs.

During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he also held roles in the Investment Banking Division and Principal Investment Area. While in the Investment Banking Division, Martin specialized in mergers and acquisitions, advising publicly and privately held corporations across a wide array of industries in the industrial and business services sectors.

Additionally, he was an Associate at SBC Warburg and an Engineer for 3M Corporation focusing on manufacturing operations.

Martin received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1997 and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1993. Martin has also completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education Board of Directors Leadership program.

Kevin Jordan is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of NMS. Kevin has approximately 30 years of private equity, general management and investment banking experience and supervises all investment activities of NMS. Prior to forming NMS in 2010, Kevin was a Managing Director in the Merchant Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. He was one of two senior members charged with investing in and leading the group of portfolio companies acquired by NMS from Goldman Sachs.

During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he also spent six years within the Leveraged Finance Group of Goldman Sachs where he specialized in leading the sourcing and execution of highly leveraged bank loans and high yield bonds. Transactions completed were across a wide range of industries, and included sponsor-backed leveraged buyouts, as well as acquisition financings and corporate refinancings.

Kevin was also a Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where he specialized in Leveraged Finance. He began his Wall Street career at Dillon, Read & Co., where he joined the Investment Banking Division as an Analyst specializing in Corporate Finance, and was subsequently promoted to Associate after two years.

Kevin is active in inner-city education causes, having served on the Loan Committee of the Bronx Preparatory Charter School and the Board of Student Sponsor Partners.

Kevin graduated magna cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Economics in 1990.

Travis Rae is a Vice President and Controller for NMS.  Travis joined the firm in 2011 and is responsible for financial reporting, taxes, compliance and investor communications.

Prior to joining NMS, Travis served as Controller for Unified 360, a private Dallas-based technology company. While at Unified 360, Travis was primarily responsible for all financial reporting, finance, accounting, and human resource duties of the organization. He was also involved in the negotiation and execution of client agreements and client third party financing.

Travis’s background includes experience with KPMG and Whitley Penn where he was responsible for a range of audit and advisory services for public and private clients, specializing in consumer, industrial, and energy business lines.

Jim Wilson has been a Partner and CFO with NMS since its formation in 2010, and is responsible for the financial management and administration of NMS and its investment funds.  He also serves as a resource for NMS portfolio company CFOs with respect to finance, accounting and tax matters.  Prior to joining NMS, Jim was a Partner and Senior Vice President for Haas Wheat & Partners (HWP), a Dallas-based private equity firm.  During his 12-year tenure at HWP, Jim was responsible for all financial reporting, taxes, and investor communications for the firm and its affiliates. Prior to HWP, Jim served as a Manager in the finance department of Coca-Cola Enterprises, and also worked in public accounting at KPMG.

Jim is active on charitable boards, including serving with OurCalling, Seed Effect, The Covenant School of Dallas, Harvesters Reaching the Nations, and Casa Del Lago. He currently serves as co-chair of the capital campaign for OurCommunity, the largest housing project for people experiencing homelessness in North Texas.

Roxanne Bowman is an Operating Executive with NMS Capital, supporting NMS across the utility and infrastructure services sectors. She currently serves on the boards of NMS portfolio companies Treeways, Exo, and Safety Management Group as well as serves on the boards of ChargePoint and CLEAResult.

Roxanne has nearly 30 years of experience in the utility industry.  Her experience spans multiple areas of businesses including executive leadership, general management, sales, marketing, and strategic planning. Roxanne also has experience working with middle-market companies to develop their organic and acquisition-based strategies.

Throughout her career, Roxanne served in various prior roles including: CEO at PowerTeam Services, Global President at Cooper Power Systems, Vice President at ABB, and numerous roles at Siemens.

Roxanne has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from Virginia Tech.

Chuck Casalinova

Chuck Casalinova is an Operating Executive with NMS Capital, helping lead proactive investment initiatives in the environmental services industry. He currently serves on the board of NMS portfolio company LDR Site Services.

Mr. Casalinova is a highly accomplished waste management and utility services executive with 40+ years of combined experience. He has a track record of significant value creation both organically and through acquisitions. Most recently Chuck was CFO of PowerTeam Services, a $900+ million revenue utilities services business backed by private equity.

Prior to that, Mr. Casalinova spent the majority of his career in the waste industry. Chuck was one of the founders of a super-regional solid waste industry provider named WCA Waste. Serving as SVP and CFO, Chuck was instrumental in building the company to approximately $300 million in annual revenues over 13 years and ultimately taking the company public. Prior to WCA, Chuck spent nearly 20 years with Waste Management, serving in various financial, operational and growth focused roles across multiple regions in the U.S. Chuck has completed and integrated upwards of 100 acquisitions during his career, creating significant shareholder value along the way.

Daniel Duffy is an Operating Executive with NMS Capital, supporting NMS across the outsourced pharmaceutical services sector. He currently serves on the board of NMS portfolio company Flourish Research.

Dan has more than 25 years of healthcare executive leadership and private equity experience in high-growth organizations across the global life science and commercial healthcare continuum. Dan is passionate about elevating patient care and accelerating access to medicines that address global patient needs, enhance quality of care, and improve health outcomes. He has a track record of significant value creation both organically and through acquisitions. His experience and current focus areas include oncology, CNS, rare disease, advanced treatment technologies such as RNA, CAR-T, Cell & Gene, digital health and healthcare technology infrastructure.

Most recently Dan was CEO of Camargo Pharmaceutical Services, a private equity backed specialty CRO business, with a focus in regulatory and commercial strategy, IND-enabling and pediatric clinical services. During his four-year tenure, the company more than doubled revenue and successfully completed two strategic acquisitions. Prior to that, Mr. Duffy was the VP and General Manager of McKesson’s Specialty Pharmacy Solutions (MSPS) business unit, a high-growth, multi-site operation with several hundred employees. Prior to MSPS, Dan spent nearly 10 years with Biologics, as the Chief Business Development Officer overseeing commercial operations, strategy, and development of the market-facing organization. Dan has completed upwards of 25 acquisitions and integrations during his career.

Mr. Duffy has a BBA in Finance from Kent State University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mr. Elfanbaum is a highly accomplished business leader with 30 years of experience leading companies, including ~25 in IT Services. He has a track record of value creation both organically and through acquisitions. In 1999, Bob co-founded and served as the CEO of Asynchrony, one of the leading agile development organizations in the US. In 2015, Asynchrony was acquired by World Wide Technology (WWT), a $17 billion global IT organization. Bob served on WWT’s executive leadership team from 2015 through 2019, led its global application services organization from 2015 to 2018 and transitioned to VP of Products in 2019, leading the creation of proprietary licensable products for WWT. From 2020 to 2023, Bob was the CEO of Object Computing Inc, a St. Louis-based company focused on transforming companies into data-driven organizations, as well as helped co-found Tolam Earth, a blockchain-based carbon offset platform.

Prior to Asynchrony, Bob was the CFO of Agri-Nutrition Group, a NASDAQ-traded company, responsible for financial operations, SEC reporting and helping execute a roll-up strategy including four acquisitions. The company was sold to Virbac, Inc., a French animal health company in 1999. Bob started his career as a CPA at PwC. As a PwC manager, he supported taking two different companies public.

Mr. Kirkpatrick is a highly accomplished engineering and infrastructure services executive with 20+ years of experience. He has a track record of significant value creation both organically and through acquisitions. Most recently Brian served as President of Universal Engineering Sciences, a Top 50 ENR 500 private equity-backed engineering and consulting firm intended to serve public and private clients in industries ranging from transportation and healthcare to commercial, residential, and education. While in this capacity, Brian successfully guided the firm through a period of dramatic growth, which included completing 20+ acquisitions in 3 years and expanding the firm to over 3,700 employees across 75 locations in 23 states.

Prior to Universal, Brian was the President of Composites for ClockSpring|NRI (nka: Critica Infrastructure), a global engineering and infrastructure firm committed to extending the life of assets through its proven, engineered composites, insertion valves, geopolymer materials, and fiber-reinforced polymer solutions. During his tenure, Brian helped accelerate growth both organically and through acquisition, while simultaneously expanding internationally (Middle East, UK & Europe, and Southeast Asia). Prior to that, Brian was Chief Investment Officer at Capital Guardian and was responsible for the firm’s investment strategy and capital markets outlook. He also served as the President of Capital Guardian Asset Management and President of Capital Guardian Funds Trust.

Bob is an Operating Executive with NMS Capital, supporting NMS in the human capital management sector. Bob currently serves on the board of NMS portfolio company GrapeTree Medical Staffing and previously served as a board member of several harvested NMS portfolio companies.

Bob specializes in the staffing industry and related workforce management companies and has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Staffing Industry Analysts Most Influential People. He was also inducted into the American Staffing Association Leadership Hall of Fame and was Chairman of ASA. His experience has included over 50 acquisitions in the staffing and human capital management space.

Bob served in various prior roles including: President of Workforce Solutions at AMN Healthcare, CEO of Medfinders, COO of Spherion, and at IBM with over 15 years of sales and operations leadership roles.

Ed is an Operating Executive with NMS Capital, supporting NMS across the healthcare services sector.  Ed currently serves on the board of NMS Portfolio Company U.S. Foot and Ankle Specialists, and he previously served on the board of Anne Arundel Dermatology prior to NMS’s exit.

Ed’s primary focus is on new market expansion, regulatory representation, and strategic development in the healthcare services end markets.  Ed also has experience with providing healthcare consulting services to various governmental organizations.

Ed served in various prior roles including: CEO of the largest independent provider of dermatology services in Maryland (which was acquired by NMS), Senior Partner at Martin-Blanck & Associates, and Principal at SRA International.

Ed served as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the United States Army from July 1974 through June 1995.  He earned a Masters of Health Administration from Baylor University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Georgia.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives.
