New York, NY, June 15, 2021 – Johnny Priest has been named Chief Executive Officer of Treeways, Inc., a platform holding company of best-in-class vegetation management businesses serving critical infrastructure end-markets with customers that include many of the nation’s largest utility companies. The operating companies within the Treeways umbrella include: Jaflo, Treesmiths, and Hazlett Tree Service.
Johnny will lead operations of the rapidly growing Treeways network which serves utilities across several states in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest. A seasoned utilities services executive, Johnny’s background spans decades of industry experience, including most recently as the Transmission & Distribution Group President at PLH Group, a power line construction and pipeline construction company, serving the oil field, electrical and industrial markets.

Over the course of his career, Johnny has held numerous leadership roles including, President & COO of Energy Delivery Services at Duke Energy through its sale to Shaw Group, President of Mastec Energy Group, President and CEO of Agros Utilities Group, President, UTD Segment of Primoris (f/k/a Willbros) and Group President of the Transmission & Distribution division of PLH Group.
Johnny holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Limestone College and was a Sergeant in the 101st Airborne Infantry with the United States Army.
