Since its incorporation in 1987, Delaware Foot and Ankle Group has provided cutting-edge podiatric diagnostic and treatment options to patients across Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The practice treats a comprehensive range of podiatric concerns, including common issues like ingrown nails and warts, as well as complex rearfoot procedures, ankle surgeries and limb salvage procedures. It currently operates three offices in Newark, Christiana and Wilmington, along with a new office in Middletown set to open in the near term. Its founder, Dr. Ernest Troisi, DPM, FACFAS, completed his residency training at Giuffre Medical Center in Philadelphia and has been practicing for over three decades. He is a three-time Delaware Today “Top Doc” award winner.
Partnered with Dr. Troisi are two other Board-Certified podiatric physicians: Drs. Jason Kline, DPM, FACFAS and Anthony Caristo, DPM, FACFAS, CWSP. Dr. Kline graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine before completing a four-year residency program in podiatric foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pennsylvania / Presbyterian Medical Center in 2005. Dr. Caristo, a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, completed his surgical residency at Christiana Care Health Systems in 2000. All three physicians have active privileges at both St. Francis and Christiana Care hospitals, and work in the education and training of resident physicians.
